Improving, critical, high variety of styles and genre’s, I’m experimenting, I’m trying new things, I’m trying to get bored of something so I can go on to the next thing. I find inspiration all around me and hope that, at some point, others will see something and be inspired by my work.

Gerry Foronda Art
Sussex Art Fairs at Goodwood 2021
Most of my works are abstract and impression. I am using free flow and random brushstroke to to get the idea of continuous application of paints, this is more like experiment. Using primary colour will add an oriental looks to my paintings and more challenge for me to combine these paints but overall the joy of mixing colour will give me satisfaction after achieving the tonal values, colour and texture that I want. My subjects are flowers, bottles, cubes, landscape, seascape and lines.

After a career as a design and branding consultant I now dedicated my time to creating 3D collage. I am submitting to you because my work is unique. That is, I’ve found nobody doing anything similar. And the response from viewers is always – amazement and positive comments. I specialise in 3 dimensional collage. I take images, manipulate them and print out copies on matt art paper which I then cut out in sections and layer them to create an intriguing illusion of depth and space. The subject matter varies from Favelas, townscapes, forests, food in fact anything which offers up great opportunities to my special 3D treatment.

We each draw inspiration from the skill and discipline of the great artists of the past, seeking to express new ideas with traditional techniques and materials of the highest quality. We strive for paintings whose charms don’t shout too loudly for attention, only to leave you cold. Rather we seek to produce paintings which speak softly, rewarding the viewer who devotes time to them.

The Imaginarium Collective
Sussex Art Fairs at Goodwood 2021
Sussex Art Fairs (West) 2019
A collection of Fine Art pieces from the Imaginarium Trilogy, a 450 image Dickens style, Steampunk themed fine art story. Limited editions, printed on Chromelux because the luminosity of works by the old masters, was due to these painters’ practice of applying multiple, thin layers of paint to their canvases. In the same way, the layers of dyes infused into the thick, translucent coating on the aluminium plates give a similar sense of depth and luminosity to the artworks. A Collaboration with Kirsten Baskett a contemporary artist based in London who engages with digital technology based on an understanding of traditional methods rather than regarding them as an out-dated medium has created some unique works being showcased. Kirsten also be exhibiting some of her solo projects. Peter Walton prop maker and sculpture for the Imaginarium will be exhibiting his unique Steampunk works exhibited for the first time as part of the collective
The collaboration at The Imaginarium Collective includes; Gary Nicholls, Kirsten Basket and Peter Walton.

Ripley Fine Art
Sussex Art Fairs (West) 2019
Ripley creates artworks using the highest resolution medium-format cameras currently available in combination with extensive work in post-production. This process gives him the foundation upon which to produce work of extremely fine detail, clarity and scale, creating anatomically precise portraits of horses which would be impossible to achieve by any other means. Working at magnifications of over one-thousand percent, every element of the picture is crafted to the width of a single pixel, something unachievable with the human eye or by using traditional painting or drawing techniques. Portraits can take up to 500 hours to produce.
From a 20 year history of producing works with an eclectic client list which includes the Beckham’s to Beyonce, and Aston Martin to Lamborghini, Ripley moved away from commercial work in 2011 to focus on creating personal pieces, specialising in equine portraiture. Ripley’s passion for the genre has already bought many special moments; from working with great horses such as ‘Pivotal’ (the picture forms part of the permanent collection at Palace House in Newmarket), ‘The Gurkha’, ‘California Chrome’, ‘Galileo Gold’ and ‘Big Bucks’, to being commissioned by Her Majesty The Queen to create a portrait of her Royal Ascot Gold Cup winning horse ‘Estimate’. Ripley’s large-scale artworks were also used on billboards to promote the Qatar Goodwood Festival in 2015 & 2016.
At present, Ripley is currently in the middle of a 3 year project creating a series of twelve large-scale pieces with The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment.
The Dragon Gallery
Sussex Art Fairs (West) 2019
A new contemporary gallery, both online and High Street based in Petworth in their own Grade II listed building, recently renovated to create an outstanding gallery space. The gallery will focus on contemporary work from emerging and mid-career artists.
Our Vision is to establish The Dragon Gallery as a respected player on the Contemporary art scene, by providing a proactive platform for artists to develop, that will aim, with our special advisor’s presence and the support of our gallery, to provide a cultural hub for events – workshops, artists’ talks, readings, guided tours, and artist’s residencies.
We plan to participate in Art Fairs in London and locally in West Sussex. Our first Art Fair is appropriately, the inaugural West Sussex Art Fair at Goodwood in May 2019, and with the support of our Head of Projects and Senior Curator, we have a planned programme of Arts Fairs during the next 12 months.
The Directors David Todd and Amanda-Grace Pope have extensive experience in art sponsorship, artist support and curation. They are joined by George Blacklock ex-Dean of Chelsea & Wimbledon Colleges of Art, as Special Advisor and Mara Alves as Head of Projects and Senior Curator.
The Dragon Gallery’s mantra is ‘less is more’ hence the focus on no more than five artists from our portfolio to exhibit at West Sussex Art Fairs (West). We aim to create a spacious environment exhibit where a consistent dialogue will be set up – between the artists and the different mediums presented in a minimalist display to ensure the viewers will have an eye-pleasing and comprehensive experience.
Artists The Dragon Gallery will include at Sussex Art Fairs are; Fernando Velazquez, Mandii Pope, Marco Piemonte, Michelle Heron and Lox Atkinson
