What is the difference between an art exhibition and an art fair?
An art exhibition usually has a theme and takes place within a gallery, whereas an art fair has much more art on offer and tends to be a much more friendly open event where visitors can meet the artists and galleries exhibiting a wide variety of genres and styles.
What kind of artwork will be available to buy at the art fair?
The West Sussex Art Fair will consist of two main rooms; ‘The Galleries Room’ consisting of 20 Galleries and Artist Collectives, showcasing a selection of work by their most popular artists and ‘The Artists Rooms’ where you will find over 80 artists who have been curated into 4 categories; Painters, Digital Artists, Mixed Media Artists, Photographers and Sculptors.

What is the average cost of artwork at the Sussex Art Fairs?
Artworks will be available to purchase from £50 up to £3,000. Special Artworks and Gallery level artwork may be slightly more expensive, but we will have a wide selection of artworks available to buy at each event.
Can I bring my children or dogs?
We welcome families with children. Unfortunately dogs are not allowed into the venue unless they are Guide Dogs, or small enough to be carried.
Can I sell jewellery at Sussex Art Fairs?
